Handling Anxiety When Transitioning to a New Grade

Are you or your child feeling nervous, worried, or anxious for the upcoming school year? Do you feel your child is a “worrier”? Dr. Sarah Haas, a Licensed Psychologist, is offering an interactive, educational workshop for children on healthy ways they can understand and cope with their worries so your child can start the school year off on the right foot! This workshop is geared towards elementary and middle school aged children and their parents, but all are welcome! (Please note: this is not a therapy session).

Dr. Sarah Haas is a local Licensed Psychologist who is focused on helping children realize their full potential and helping parents establish a peaceful home environment. She has been sought out for her expertise by Central Penn Parent and the Ephrata Review. She provides evidence-based evaluations and therapy for youth (toddlers through young adults) focused on anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavior difficulties at Center for Active Minds.
