Love Fredrik Backman? So. Do. We.
Lancaster Public Library is excited to launch a summer book club for adults to bring community members together to connect with other book lovers.
This summer we’ll be reading three novels by Fredrik Backman, A Man Called Ove (June 29), Anxious People (July 27), and lastly Beartown (August 31).
Get more out of your Fredrik Backman reading experience by joining our discussion of Beartown, a charming novel about a forgotten town fractured by scandal, and the amateur hockey team that might just change everything. If you liked Beartown, check out the sequels Us Against You and The Winners (coming October, 2022).
Registration is required. We have lots of room to spread out in Bates Auditorium, but we’re playing it safe and restricting the program to 15 participants.
This program will take place INDOORS. Masks are no longer required inside the library. We encourage all staff members and visitors who wish to continue wearing masks to please do so. We expect all patrons to be respectful of others’ choices regarding mask-wearing.
