Join us for a discussion on the groundbreaking documentary 13TH.

Combining archival footage with testimony from activists and scholars, director Ava DuVernay’s examination of the U.S. prison system looks at how the country’s history of racial inequality drives the high rate of incarceration in America.

U.S. Rating: TV-MA For mature audiences. May not be suitable for ages 17 and under.

Prior to founding Pearson Law Group, Ms. Pearson worked at a Civil Rights Law Firm for several years. Ms. Pearson also litigated various civil matters on behalf of individuals and large corporations. In addition to having a law license, Ms. Pearson has an MBA and has spent many years as a business consultant helping business owners increase their company’s profitability. Ms. Pearson takes great pride in having established a firm that offers personal attention to the particular needs of each client.
