Excel-Level Two (Four-Session Course)
Lancaster Public Library is pleased to offer free computer classes to the public. Classes are given by experienced library volunteers.
This class, using Microsoft Excel from the Office 2016 suite, offers instruction in the following areas:
- Review of 2012 Excel ribbon and icons
- Advanced printing-options/large, spreadsheets
- Linking Worksheet Data within Workbooks
- Formulas
- Functions:Creating and inserting Charts (bar, trend, pie)
- Embedding Charts
- Pivot Tables
- Vlook-ups
- Multiple Worksheets for Data Analysis
- Conditional Formatting
Where: Computer training room on 2nd floor of Lancaster City Library.
When: Tuesdays, September 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 6-7:45pm.
Registration is required and please do so only if you can attend all of the sessions listed for the class. Please make every effort to show up on time. The doors to the Computer Training Room will be locked at 6:10, and no one will be allowed to enter after that time.
Prerequisites: Must have taken Word or have one year’s active experience using Basic Excel 2007 or 2010. A Lancaster County library card in good standing. Must be 18 or older.
Class size is capped at ten students, and priority will be given to newcomers. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel the registration of a student if s/he has taken the class multiple times. Please call the reference desk at 394-2651 x128 with any questions.
Metered parking is available on Duke Street and behind the library. The Duke Street Garage is also across the street from the library.
