All Together Now: Interfaith Discussions

The Summer Reading theme of this year, All Together Now, is meant to inspire community and togetherness.

Members of the Lancaster community are invited to a five part series of discussions aimed at helping each other forge new relationships, learn new things, and develop new skills.

This program would host several religious leaders from Lancaster county to come to the library and speak on topics such as,

  • Mindfulness
  • Kindness
  • Introspection
  • Community
  • Reflection
  • Togetherness

Hosts include:

Rev. Edward Sangetsu Sullivan (Spiritual Director of Red Rose Sangha)
– Dr AbulSalami Ibrahim (representing the Islamic Community Center of Lancaster)
Rabbi Jack Paskoff (Congregation Shaarai Shomayim)
Rev. Darla Gaioma Bair (Interfaith Elder and Director of Calm in the Chaos Interfaith Center)
Father David Peck (Saint James Episcopal Church)

People from all viewpoints and backgrounds are welcomed and encouraged to participate in this conversation. We hope they can foster inclusion and respect for diversity.

This program is geared towards adults, but suitable for families and teens.
