Help us kick off National Library Week with a parade celebrating the Library’s upcoming move to Ewell Plaza!

If you want to be a part of our historic move, kids (and kids at heart!) can help lighten our load by carrying one (1) picture book each from the old building to our new location in Ewell Plaza.

• Your first stop is the library building at 125 N. Duke Street where you’ll be handed a library book.

• With the library book in hand, participants will parade down E. Marion Street, having crossed at the crosswalk with help from the Lancaster City Police Department.

• The parade ends in Ewell Plaza, where everyone will deliver the books to staff members waiting outside of the new building (151 N. Queen Street).

We hope to line the route with MANY Library Lovers!
