Microsoft Word is a word processing program that makes it easy to create professional-looking documents. This class covers intermediate-level skills, and is ideal for a computer user who wants to become well versed in Word.
Classes are given by experienced library volunteers.
This class offers instruction in the following areas: Creating paragraphs * Using text boxes * Adding shapes * Including images and captions * Adding footnotes * Adjusting styles * Headers & footers * Adding page numbers * Designing tables * Tracking changes to your document * Adding comments

Where: Computer Training Room on the second floor of the library. Registration is required and please do so only if you can attend all of the sessions listed for the class. Failure to do so will result in your exclusion from registration for a six-month period. Please make every effort to show up on time.
Prerequisites: Intro to Computers or equivalent experience. Must have a Lancaster County library card in good standing. Must be 18 or older.
Class size is capped at six (6) students, and priority will be given to newcomers. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel the registration of a student if s/he has taken the class multiple times.

Metered parking is available on Duke Street and behind the library. The Duke Street Garage is also across the street from the library.
This program will take place INDOORS. Masks are no longer required inside the library. We encourage all staff members and visitors who wish to continue wearing masks to please do so. We expect all patrons to be respectful of others’ choices regarding mask-wearing.
