The month of February is dedicated to celebrating libraries, librarians, book lovers, and lovers of libraries.
So, it’s the perfect time to show your love for Lancaster Public Library!
If you’re looking for a few simple ways you can show your #LibraryLove, keep reading and find what works best for you.
💖 Visit! While it may seem obvious, visiting Lancaster Public Library is one of the best ways to show your support. Whether you’re visiting in person or virtually, Lancaster Public Library offers library card holders access to information, ideas, and enriching experiences. All for free!
Don’t have a library card? Now is the perfect time to register for one. Get your free card at the Lancaster City Branch or Mountville Branch. Be sure to bring your proof of address.
💖 Attend a Program! Take some time to enjoy one of the great programs going on this month. We’d love to see you!
💖 Volunteer! We do great things every day at our branches—but we can’t do any of those things without the time and effort provided by our generous volunteers! Apply today!
💖 Share Your Library Love! Leave a comment on a Facebook post, submit a Google Review, tell a friend about us (they can get a library card, too!), or drop us a note–spread the joy!
💖 Stay Informed! Sign up for monthly email updates and stay connected with the latest happenings at the library.
💖 Support the Library! This month, take your Library Love to the next level and enroll in our recurring gift program to provide continued support for Lancaster Public Library. To sweeten the deal, everyone who commits to contributing $20 and above per month will receive a free tote bag! Enroll online or call Director of Donor Advising, Jon Heinly, at 717-394-2651 x2120 for assistance.
