Teens

We love having teens here in our library.

The Lancaster City Branch includes a special teen space on the second floor. Youth, ages 13-18, are invited to visit the space, which features an art gallery, teen-only tables and chairs, and a large collection just for teens.

Our friendly and knowledgeable librarians will help you find just the right materials from our collection, which includes books, e-books, magazines, manga, graphic novels, audio books, books in Spanish, and online databases. Our librarians, who are located at Children and Teen Services desk in the Children’s Room, can help you access the databases and other digital resources you need to complete homework and research projects.

We offer a variety of programs just for teens!

Anime After School! meets every week, while Teen Gaming: 2nd Wednesday Edition, Let’s Draw In Person Together, Teen unBook Club, and Click Clique all meet once/month. We also have special events every month (like Make a Vintage Journal!), so check our event calendar to see what programs are coming up.
