How Your Gift Makes a Difference
Support these Lancaster Public Library programs through Pennsylvania’s Special Purpose Entity (SPE) tax credit program:
☀️ The Summer Reading Program reduces summer learning loss and inspires a lifelong love of reading by engaging hundreds of children each year in educational activities throughout the summer.
📚 Teacher Book Bundles provides local educators with curated, classroom-ready materials to support learning and literacy across a wide range of subjects and age groups.
Your support helps ensure equitable access to educational resources for children, teens, and educators across Lancaster County.
Make Your Gift Go Further
Through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program and Special Purpose Entities (SPEs), eligible individuals and businesses can receive a 90% state tax credit for gifts supporting educational programming at Lancaster Public Library. It’s an easy, impactful, and cost-effective way to support public education where it matters most.
It costs just a dime to give a dollar!
For example, a $5,000 donation can yield a $4,500 tax credit, plus a federal deduction—making your real cost as little as $375.
