Where can I find tax forms and instructions?
Federal Tax Forms:
1040/1040-SR forms and instruction books are available at both Lancaster Public Library locations. These and additional forms can also be found at irs.gov/forms-instructions.
PA State Tax Forms:
Pennsylvania encourages e-filing, but forms and instructions for filing can be found at revenue.pa.gov.
Local Tax Forms:
Tax forms for Lancaster County can be found at lctcb.org.
Where can I file electronically?
Federal Taxes:
The IRS lists online-filing options, including “Free File” and “Direct File” at irs.gov/individual-tax-filing.
PA State Taxes:
Many e-filing services allow you to file state and federal forms at the same time. Visit mypath.pa.gov to file only state forms for free.
Local Taxes:
E-filing for Lancaster County can be found at lctcb.org.

Please note, many locations offering tax prep assistance require an appointment and have specific guidelines about the materials you must bring to your appointment to receive service.
