Bookstore volunteers always needed!
Do you love books? Have you imagined having your own bookstore? Here’s a chance to volunteer and give some valuable time to an important fundraising outlet for the Lancaster Public Library. Our bookstores sell quality used books for all ages at extremely reasonable prices. If you have 2-3 hours free weekly or monthly, please consider becoming a member of our volunteer staff. Hours are flexible and scheduling is done monthly. Inquire at either bookstore during your next visit or complete your volunteer application TODAY!
Proceeds from the sale of your gently used books directly benefits Lancaster Public Library and its patrons by helping to close the gap in public funding we need to carry out our important community mission. Thank you for your support!
The Book ReSort (located at 225 N. Marshall Street) is open most Mondays and Wednesdays from 10AM-12PM. On those days, volunteers will be on hand to accept your donations of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, & vinyl records. Click HERE to learn more.
